Job summary

Siemens Mobility Limited in the United Kingdom is offering a Degree Apprentice - Project Planning (Level 6) for 48 months with End Point Assessment. You will join the project controls team, working on railway signalling and control projects while studying at Cumbria University via virtual day release.

This programme blends hands-on experience with structured development, mentoring and a permanent role on successful completion.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have achieved 96 UCAS points or be on track to achieve.
• GCSEs: at least five subjects with grade 4 or above including Maths and English.
• 3 A Levels or BTEC equivalent at grade C or above.
• Logical thinking, willingness to self-learn and research; creative problem solving.
• Ability to work independently, safely and responsibly; drive change and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of railway signalling and control projects.
• Work alongside engineering, software and installation teams to stay on track.
• Develop project management skills in areas such as schedules, budgets, resources, risks and safety.
• Build communication and stakeholder management with colleagues, customers, suppliers and partners.
