Job summary

Siemens Mobility offers a Degree Apprenticeship in Project Controls. The programme is based in Manchester and runs for 48 months with an End Point Assessment. You’ll gain hands-on experience while earning a degree at Level 6, aligned to a Project Controls Professional standard.

The route includes virtual day releases and mentoring as you work on real signalling projects. You’ll learn to plan, manage budgets and schedules, collaborate across engineering and software teams, and deliver a Business

Qualifications

• GCSEs including maths and English are required.
• 3 A Levels or BTEC equivalent at grade C or above.
• Able to plan, coordinate and deliver complex railway signalling projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of railway signalling and control projects from concept through testing and completion.
• Collaborate with engineering, software and installation teams to keep projects coordinated and on track.
• Develop project management skills in areas such as schedules, budgets, resources, risks and safety requirements.
• Build communication and stakeholder management skills with colleagues, customers and suppliers to ensure safe, reliable rail solutions.
