Job summary

Brett Aggregates is recruiting a Site Supervisor for our railhead facility in Chichester. You will oversee safe loading and unloading of aggregates by rail, manage stockpiles, supervise mobile plant, and ensure quality, documentation and site housekeeping meet high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in the aggregates industry is preferred.
• Proven ability to operate mobile plant and manage site activities.
• Strong focus on health, safety and environmental standards.
• Good IT and administrative skills for keeping records.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of health, safety and environmental compliance on site.
• Oversee receipt and discharge of deliveries by rail, safely and efficiently.
• Load customer and collection vehicles with mobile plant, issue tickets and documents.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, ensuring site procedures are followed.
• Manage day-to-day railhead operations, ensuring housekeeping and service quality.
• Be the primary site contact, building relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Carry out routine inspections, quality checks and maintain records.
