Job summary

Northern at Sheffield Train Station is recruiting cleaners to join the daytime operation. You will help ensure trains are clean, safe, and welcoming for passengers as part of a busy daytime team.

Responsibilities include thoroughly cleaning interiors, managing quick-turnaround cleans during service, removing litter, restocking facilities, and handling spills safely while following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning commercial, industrial or domestic spaces.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Proactive work ethic and team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Clean train interiors to high hygiene standards.
• Perform quick-turnaround cleans during service schedules.
• Remove litter, empty bins and restock onboard facilities.
• Tackle spills safely following health and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with depot and operations to maintain quality.
• Keep depot work areas and equipment clean and organized.
