Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a Train Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene of trains, ensuring a safe, pleasant environment for passengers and staff. The role covers night shifts Monday to Friday, with opportunities to work weekends and receive provided travel to and from work on SWR trains.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, reporting damages, managing supplies, and following safety procedures. Prior experience in cleaning is advantageous, and a valid UK work right is required.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Previous cleaning experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work night and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain a tidy environment inside the train.
• Inspect and report any damages, graffiti, or vandalism to the appropriate authorities for prompt resolution.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed, ensuring that all necessary materials are on hand to perform daily tasks.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• Follow procedures for handling and disposing of cleaning chemicals and materials.
