Job summary

Randstad CPE London in Ruislip is recruiting for an engineering welder to join a small on-site workshop team. You will weld rails to create 90m strings for TfL, using an enclosed welding machine and assorted mechanical equipment.

Applicants should have an engineering apprenticeship or NVQ level 3, welding experience, and both mechanical and electrical knowledge. Crane experience is a bonus; training will be provided. The role is on-site with a 35-hour week and an ongoing contract, inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Completed engineering apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• Welding experience.
• Experience in using mechanical equipment.
• Mechanical and electrical experience.
• Crane experience is beneficial but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Weld rails to create 90m strings for TfL.
• Operate welding machine and related mechanical equipment.
• Work in a workshop and outdoors as required.
