Job summary

Ferrovial BAM Joint Venture seeks a Technical Assurance Requirements Engineer for the HS2 Track project at the design phase, based in London Euston. You will coordinate assurance activities, manage requirements, and ensure conformity with standards and stages.

Role requires rail project experience, strong communication, and proficiency in DOORS; you will contribute to continuous process improvement and timely milestone delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Chartered IMEC, PWA Institute or CEng ICE desirable.
• Experience in major multi-disciplinary rail projects.
• Experience in high-speed railway projects and UK projects is valuable.
• Proficient in Requirements Management.
• Proficient in IBM Rational DOORS.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver technical assurance activities to ensure timely deliverables.
• Support resolution of technical assurance issues to achieve a self-assured product.
• Improve assurance processes, capturing lessons learned for future projects.
• Apply RAMP procedures to support activities across lifecycle stages.
• Maintain Contractor's Technical Requirements Baseline against Works Information.
• Assist with elicitation and development of system requirements.
• Contribute to V&V activities and assurance evidence.
• Support progressive assurance to reduce approval risks and enable acceptance.
• Track assured deliverables and certification to meet milestones.
• Prepare materials for design reviews and HS2 stage gates.
