Job summary

Network Rail is seeking a Telecoms Engineer to deliver installation, commissioning and testing of telecoms infrastructure across the UK. The role supports projects from day-to-day IT operations to extensive delivery programmes within the DDaT directorate.

Ideal candidates will have proven telecoms delivery experience, trackside safety knowledge, and a full UK driving licence. Hybrid working arrangements are considered.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering telecoms equipment on projects.
• Experience in telecoms installation, testing and fault-finding techniques with relevant test equipment.
• Knowledge of CDM and trackside safety requirements when working on rail projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver installation, commissioning and testing of telecoms infrastructure across the UK.
• Carry out site-based testing and record results per instructions and test plans.
• Configure telecoms systems and provision circuits for migration from legacy infrastructure.
