Matchtech Group is seeking an experienced Rail Workshop Manager for a 12-month fixed-term role in London. You will lead a technical repair workshop for a major telecom/system programme, directing a multi-disciplinary team and ensuring high-quality, efficient delivery in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires strong leadership, deep rail/telecoms knowledge, and a track record of process improvements, with responsibility for workload planning and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifikationen

• Experience managing a technical repair workshop/service environment.
• Strong understanding of electronic, telecoms, and rail systems.
• Proven leadership and process-improvement experience.
• Excellent organisation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Background in rail or large workshops.
• Experience with logistics, spares, or stock control.
• Knowledge of diagnostics, root cause analysis, or system engineering.

Aufgaben

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the repair workshop.
• Manage and develop a multi-skilled technical team.
• Oversee repair, refurbishment, and maintenance activities.
