Job summary

Indra is seeking a Workshop Manager to lead end-to-end repair and refurbishment for a major public transport technology programme in the UK. You will guide workshop leaders, engineers and administrators, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to KPIs.

You will oversee spares, logistics coordination and subcontractor relationships, while driving continuous improvement and cost-effective capacity planning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, electronics, telecommunications, industrial management or related discipline.
• Significant experience leading technical workshop operations or repair centres.
• Strong understanding of repair processes for electronic, electro-mechanical and PC-based equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership of the workshop organisation and ensure efficient repair and refurbishment of assets.
• Oversee teams and interfaces, ensuring workflows and standards are met.
• Manage planning, resources, skills allocation and capacity across streams.
