Job summary

WSP is seeking a systems engineering professional to support major infrastructure programmes in a rail environment. You will work within project teams to solve integration challenges, mentor junior colleagues, and take on responsibility for project elements, applying MBSE and DOORS to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Chartered status or clear path to Chartered status within the near future.
• Post-degree experience delivering systems integration in rail environments.
• Experience applying systems engineering tools (DOORS) and MBSE techniques.
• Experience identifying and defining appropriate approaches to systems engineering on projects.
• Leading others in delivering systems engineering projects or tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams to solve complex integration problems on major infrastructure programmes.
• Lead tasks within a project environment, or sole accountability for small projects.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn from clients and colleagues and mentor Early Career Professionals.
• Apply pragmatic systems thinking to reduce risk and add value on large systems engineering projects.
• Develop interval team capabilities and broaden commercial understanding within a consultancy setting.
