Job summary

Ferrovial Construction seeks a Rail Systems Engineer to join the HS2 Track infrastructure project at the initial design phase, with options for Euston-London or Birmingham. You will coordinate design interfaces, resources and logistics within a Rail Systems Alliance framework to meet cost and schedule goals.

You will lead Technical Risk and Assumptions management, maintain auditable records, review meetings, and monthly progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Experience in a railway environment preferred.
• Proactive team player with good listening and engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Technical Risk and Assumptions processes with auditable outputs.
• Administer risk/assumptions registers, arrange reviews, take notes, and produce reports.
• Ensure registers are complete before each design review and produce monthly progress metrics.
