Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking a Train Station Security Officer to join our team protecting rail customers and sites across the network in Liverpool. You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed in a disciplined, safety-first environment.

Eligible candidates must be 18+, hold a valid SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence, and have a minimum of 5 years of checkable work history.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and eligible to work in a licensable role.
• SIA guarding or door supervision licence is required.
• 5 years checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and smart in appearance.
• Friendly, approachable and professional.
• Experience in security or customer-facing roles is advantageous.
• Able to interact with clients and customers positively.

Responsibilities

• Perform uniformed duties within a disciplined environment.
• Work on a client-led roster with flexible hours.
• Conduct security searches of a train station.
• Support the TravelSafe initiative.
• Respond to and manage security incidents per policy.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to passengers with empathy.
• Safeguard vulnerable passengers until authorities take over.
• Strive to meet KPI targets through a proactive, performance-driven approach.
• Provide high-visibility reassurance patrols on rail services.
• Record information accurately and in compliance with GDPR.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies at all times.
