Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking enthusiastic, reliable security personnel to join our team at Liverpool Central Station. The role involves patrolling, enforcing byelaws, and providing a visible security presence to deter crime while ensuring public safety.

Full training is provided, with opportunities for progression. We offer a competitive hourly rate (£15.46) and full induction, plus pension access after qualifying period, health plans, and top-up SIA training.

Qualifications

• Must have SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence.
• 5 years checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and smart in appearance.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional at all times.
• Ideally some security or customer-facing experience.
• Able to interact with clients and customers positively.
• Experience working in security and as part of a team is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure colleague safety and provide a confident security presence.
• Enforce byelaws and penalty fare initiatives as directed.
• Respond to, manage and contain security incidents per company standards.
• Effectively manage conflicts and take control of incidents.
• Control access and egress; conduct patrols to deter crime.
• Engage with the public professionally and helpfully.
• Direct customers and provide guidance as a first point of contact.
• Follow safety and security processes and work as part of a team.
