Job summary

VolkerWessels is seeking an ambitious Site Engineer to join the Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE) on a 10-year framework with Network Rail. Based from Gravesend and working across Kent, you will contribute to major rail earthworks projects, site management and delivery, while collaborating with experienced engineers and managers to develop your career.

You will bring a civil engineering qualification and strong communication, with rail experience being advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in civil infra preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Site management and project delivery across multiple rail earthworks projects.
• Engage with stakeholders and clients, ensuring safety, quality and environmental standards.
