Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join our Earthworks Team. You will deliver safe, on-time rail earthworks across the Wessex Route with oversight from the Project Manager.

Based from Basingstoke or Blackfriars, you will travel to sites across the region, lead multidisciplinary teams, manage subcontractors and ensure quality, safety and programme delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Agent or Senior Engineer on infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering earthworks, geotechnical, slope stabilization, or soil nailing.
• Knowledge of Network Rail standards and practices.
• Strong leadership, planning and stakeholder management.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and successful projects across the Wessex Route.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors.
• Plan and program delivery within budgets.
• Ensure quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with Project Manager and stakeholders.
