Qualifications

• Experience operating in rail movements within a private facility or depot.
• Understanding of Network Rail activities, standards and requirements.
• Proven ability to follow safety procedures and operational instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely control and coordinate the movement of traction and rolling stock.
• Couple and uncouple rail vehicles in line with procedures.
• Execute shunting duties in compliance with safety standards.
• Develop competency as Shunter and shunt vehicle driver.
• Adhere to rail operating procedures and site rules.
• Communicate effectively with teams to ensure safe movements.
• Maintain safety, risk awareness and compliance at all times.
