Job summary

Hitachi Rail GTS UK Limited in London is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major project or portfolio, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and to-spec outcomes. You will steer multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships in a hybrid working environment.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will work with engineering, commercial, finance, and operations to secure value and performance, coach junior managers, and uphold governance and reporting standards

Qualifications

• Senior project management experience delivering high-value, complex projects.
• Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams across multi-site organisations.
• Strong governance, risk and change control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for project delivery against time, cost and quality objectives.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ensure projects follow governance processes and reporting standards.
• Lead planning, scheduling and resource management activities.
• Manage project risks, opportunities, changes and claims.
• Support and develop less-experienced Project Managers.
