Job summary

Hitachi Rail GTS UK Limited is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead complex bids from opportunity identification through to handover. The role supports hybrid working, collaborating with Capture Leaders and multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal, compliant proposals on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will coach other Bid Managers, drive continuous improvement, and manage bid governance, budgets and stakeholder relationships across units and countries.

Qualifications

• Significant practical experience of developing and delivering complex bids throughout the full bid lifecycle.
• Knowledge and practical application of Shipley and/or APMP Capture and Bid Management processes.
• Strong bid strategy and planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of bid strategies and detailed bid plans.
• Support Capture Leaders to develop compelling win themes aligned with customer requirements.
• Lead multidisciplinary bid teams across units and countries, ensuring on-time, within-budget submissions.
