Job summary

Network Rail is seeking a supervisor to oversee delivery of works and inspections, ensuring safety and quality. You will support staff, coordinate resources and align with maintenance plans to deliver projects on time and to standard.

The role requires vigilance on safety, strong communication, and the ability to develop team capability. Applicants should be prepared for field-based work and driving as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience directing and supervising worksites and delivering safe, efficient work.
• Knowledge of resource and work planning processes and systems.
• Knowledge of overhead line equipment inspection, maintenance, renewal and asset condition assessment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the delivery of work and inspect as required.
• Manage staff as directed and monitor welfare and discipline.
• Ensure compliance with standards, procedures and safe systems of work.
• Prepare work plans, resource specs and method statements including Safe System of Work Plans.
• Provide information to update systems, databases and records.
