Job summary

Network Rail in the North West region is seeking a skilled Team Leader to supervise a maintenance team. You will direct inspections, faulting, and renewal activities on track infrastructure, ensuring trains run safely and reliably for passengers and freight.

You will bring an electrical installation background and supervisory experience, with NVQ3/City & Guilds and BS 7671 knowledge. The role involves days/nights/weekends and on-call duties in a safety-critical environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Inspection and Testing or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of BS 7671 Electrical Wiring Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct, organise and motivate a high performing team.
• Oversee inspection, faulting, maintenance and renewal of track assets.
• Ensure safety arrangements and safe systems of work are followed.
