Job summary

Arriva TrainCare is recruiting for a Rolling Stock Maintenance Fitter at Crewe Depot. This 12-month fixed-term contract offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £41,699.44 per annum.

You will join the Light Maintenance team to perform maintenance and modifications on customer rolling stock, ensuring safety and reliability. You will diagnose faults, follow VMIs and procedures, and contribute to on-time delivery with high workmanship standards across the depot.

Qualifications

• Experience in rail vehicle maintenance and engineering activities.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance and modification work on customer rolling stock.
• Diagnose faults and carry out corrective actions.
• Adhere to safety, quality and procedures and complete task worksheets.
• Support depot targets through high-quality workmanship and teamwork.
