Job summary

Arriva TrainCare is seeking a Shift Fitter for the Crewe depot to maintain and overhaul passenger rolling stock. You will work nights on a 4 on 4 off rota, reporting to the Service Delivery Leader and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 and experience in rail vehicle maintenance. The role offers a permanent contract with comprehensive benefits and a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent required.
• Experience with rail traction and rolling stock preferred.
• Ability to interpret and read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and overhaul of rail vehicles to standards and procedures.
• Operate rail vehicles within depot limits and safety guidelines.
• Ensure safety, QA and environmental procedures are followed and documented.
