Job summary

Randstad CPE London is seeking a Rail Quantity Surveyor to join a busy reactive works team in Bristol, with flexibility for Exeter. You will oversee numerous small-value rail, M&E, civils and building projects, reporting on costs, forecasts and variations.

You will mentor an Assistant QS while building client relationships and ensuring commercial success across multiple packages. The role offers a permanent position with strong benefits and the chance to develop within a leading main

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Commercial understanding across cost reporting, forecasting, valuations, variations and subcontract management.
• Confidence to support and manage an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience with main contractor or infrastructure organisation.

Responsibilities

• Implement the commercial strategy across a varied portfolio of reactive and small-value works.
• Support project teams to ensure profitability and successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain commercial strategies to secure project margins.
• Manage a large volume of smaller-value projects and work packages.
• Maintain contract cost reporting systems and ensure data accuracy.
