Job summary

Aureos Rail is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Rail Business Unit in Ashford. You will support the commercial team in delivering profitable projects, maintaining cost control, and producing timely financial reports.

The role involves sub-contract management, CVR production, forecasting, and participation in project progress meetings. This is a full-time position based on-site in Ashford with a strong focus on value and governance within a national infrastructure context.

Qualifications

• Degree in quantity surveying or equivalent.
• Experience in construction/rail project commercial environment.
• Strong cost control and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial team to ensure profitability, cash management, cost control and accurate reporting.
• Capably submit applications and control credit processes.
• Understand income forecast and pricing of variations.
• Manage change control system and project risk.
• Produce cost to complete and CVRs with support.
• Coordinate subcontract management and related documentation.
• Attend project progress meetings and assist with monthly financial reports.
