Job summary

TED Recruitment Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager with rail project experience to join a client office. You will deliver pre and post contract QS duties and support commercial activities within delivery teams.

You will work with the supply chain and contractors on cost variation assessments, provide an independent view to the Head of Commercial, and bring NEC3 (ideally NEC4) contract knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in quantity surveying and commercial management required.
• Rail experience with NEC contracts is essential.
• Support delivery teams with commercial activities and cost variation assessments.
• Provide independent view to Head of the Commercial team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise junior QSs at a more senior level.
• Engage with supply chain and contractors on cost variation assessments and commercial activities.
