Job summary

TED Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager for a London rail-focused role. The position offers the option to join our London office or work at a client office on rail projects, with NEC contracts experience essential.

You will support the delivery of commercial activities within the delivery teams and collaborate with the supply chain and contractors to perform cost variation assessments, while providing an independent view to the Head of Commercial.

Qualifications

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Rail experience with NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4) is highly desirable
• 4–5+ years QS experience with pre and post contract duties
• Familiarity with NEC3/NEC4 and cost variation assessments would be useful
• RICS qualification is a plus but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of commercial activities within delivery teams
• Work with supply chain and contractors to provide cost variation assessments
• Provide an independent view to Head of Commercial
• Oversee and mentor junior QSs as needed
