Job summary

Bracken Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Project Manager for a rail project in the London region. The role involves on-site leadership, coordinating a site team and reporting to the Contracts Manager on progress and issues.

The ideal candidate will have civil engineering experience in rail, site delivery experience, and CSCS card, with strong MS Office skills and health & safety knowledge. London Underground experience is desirable.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of civil engineering within rail.
London Underground experience desirable.
Rail experience.
Experience of project delivery.
Ability to liaise with client, engineers, estimators and surveyors.
Degree qualified.
Proficient using Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook and Excel.
Knowledge of method statements and risk assessments.
Valid CSCS Card.
Knowledge of Health & Safety Procedures, Management Systems and Quality Assurance Procedures.

Responsibilities

Lead on-site project management on rail projects in the London region.
Manage day-to-day site activity, programming, resources and safety planning.
Liaise with Client, Engineers, Estimators and Surveyors; report progress to project teams.
Ensure works are delivered to a high quality standard, on time and within profitability.
Ensure incidents/accidents and near misses are reported correctly.
