Bracken Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Project Manager for a rail project in the London region. The role involves on-site leadership, coordinating a site team and reporting to the Contracts Manager on progress and issues.
The ideal candidate will have civil engineering experience in rail, site delivery experience, and CSCS card, with strong MS Office skills and health & safety knowledge. London Underground experience is desirable.

This would suit someone from a Civil Engineering background and with previous Rail experience within London Underground.Our Client is a multi-disciplined Civil Engineering Contractor delivering projects that are time and safety critical within the Rail industry.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a project team on aRail project. The role will include day to day project management duties on site where you will have a site team reporting directly to you. The role will involve the management of site activity, programming work and resources, health, safety and environmental planning and monitoring, client and sub-contractor liaison and reporting on project progress to the project teams. You will also have to liaise with the Client and attend regular meetings regarding progress and issues etc. The successful candidate will be the main site contact and reporting into the Contracts Manager. You will also ensure that the project teams carry out the works to a high quality standard in a safe manner and to agreed timescales whilst maintaining profitability and ensuring that all incidents/accidents and near misses are reported correctly.
