Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Project Engineer / Senior Engineer for a major infrastructure project in the UK. The successful candidate will lead engineering delivery, ensuring quality management and technical assurance.

This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage engineering support on complex rail projects. Candidates should possess a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with PTS/Sentinel qualifications and SMSTS certification.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in rail, civil engineering, or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering assurance and site delivery.
• Ability to review technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering function for rail and civils works.
• Manage engineering support for level crossing, drainage, and structures.
• Coordinate Temporary Works procedures and ensure compliance.
