Job summary

Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture is recruiting 2 Project Engineers for the Completions & Transitions team on the HS2 London Tunnels contract. The role provides technical lead support for post-construction assurance activities on shaft and headhouse packages.

The candidate will plan, coordinate, and report delivery, coordinate with suppliers and ensure records are maintained in the project CDE. A civil engineering background and site-based exposure are essential.

Qualifications

Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent; HND in Civil Engineering with vocational training.
Main contractor and major project experience desirable.
Ideally you are currently working at sub agent level.
Knowledge of construction contract law and forms of contract is preferred.
Extensive technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices.
CSCS Card and Health & Safety training are required.

Responsibilities

Develop a technical assurance flowchart and breakdown of work packages as directed.
Maintain asset trackers and ensure the project CDE reflects progress.
Plan and deliver post-construction surveys and lookahead programmes.
Report weekly with justifications and mitigations for date movements.
