Job summary

Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to support the HS2 London Tunnels Contract. You will lead Earned Value Management, schedule and cost controls, and prepare client and internal reports.

You will collaborate with planning, commercial and project teams, ensuring robust reporting and continuous improvement in project controls within a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and cost control processes.
• Proficiency in P6 Planning and Control Software, including budgets and resources.
• Strong data interpretation skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to manipulate data and templates.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization and dashboards.
• UK Right to Work / UK passport or equivalent authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project controls for the HS2 London Tunnels Contract.
• Support scheduling, resource planning, cost management and change control.
• Produce and distribute project reports for client and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with EVA implementation and monthly reporting, ensuring accuracy.
• Collaborate with commercial and planning teams to align EVA and cost systems.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to improve project control processes.
