Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director for Project Controls to lead major rail programmes in the Midlands from our Nottingham office. You will oversee planning, cost control, and performance reporting, directing a controls team to ensure data integrity and successful delivery.

The role requires proven UK infrastructure construction experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and scheduling in the field and home office.
• Proven experience within the UK infrastructure construction sector.
• Skilled in oral and written communication.
• Proficiency with PCs and software including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office applications.
• Intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up workflows.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction management.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Project Controls across major programmes in the Midlands.
• Lead the programme controls function with accuracy and consistency of plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting, deploying controls resources effectively.
• Business development.
• Reviewing new project proposals/remits and ensuring realistic resource plans for delivery.
• Identify resourcing requirements and liaise with planning to resolve issues.
• Provide efficient day-to-day reporting to Programme and Project Managers on plans, costs, safety, environment and performance.
• Ensure data input by project teams meets data standards in cost and performance systems.
• Manage the production of the Investment Plan.
• Comply with the Investment Competence Framework.
