Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Nottingham is seeking Project Controls Specialists at all levels to join our Midlands PMO. You will work across planning, scheduling, performance reporting and risk management to deliver insight and support decision making on major programmes.

Travel across the Midlands is required; you will collaborate with delivery teams, develop dashboards and reports, and contribute to our communities of practice while growing into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in a project or programme environment is essential.
• Understanding of how Project Controls (Scheduling, Cost Control, Change Control) interact with Reporting.
• Awareness of Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys) is desirable.
• Experience in using data analysis tools (Power BI) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Tailoring reporting processes to meet the client's needs and aligning with best practice.
• Delivering performance and reporting management plans for our clients based on project requirements, maturity, and best practice.
• Promoting the benefits and requirements of Performance Reporting & Analytics within the project and programme team.
• Implementing, administering, and maintaining reporting systems and procedures to track project controls performance.
• Working with the Integrated Project Team to establish a robust, integrated PMB and support change control.
• Rolling out reporting calendars to ensure a consistent drumbeat of performance data.
• Defining data flows for information management systems and supporting digital teams.
• Leading the development, analysis and maintenance of corporate datasets.
• Providing guidance on data quality issues to various data providers.
• Leading material preparation for governance through projects, programmes, portfolios and the enterprise.
• Identifying performance recovery recommendations for stakeholders and management.
• Supporting the project team in developing KPIs and the performance measures dictionary.
• Developing project performance reports and dashboards with recommendations for stakeholders.
• Leading preparation of client governance forums and performance reviews.
