Amey is hiring a permanent Assistant OLE Engineer to join the Consulting Rail team across multiple UK locations, including Birmingham, Derby, York, Bristol, Manchester and Cardiff.

You will contribute to design solutions for major rail infrastructure projects, supporting the delivery from inception to completion while pursuing professional development and Chartered status where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mechanical Engineering within Rail sector.
• Knowledge of rail design processes and procedures.
• Ability to produce technically sound Rail engineering solutions meeting standards and client requirements.
• Experience with health, safety and welfare in project contexts.
• Progress toward Incorporated or Chartered status or equivalent licence.

Responsabilités

• Work in a team to produce technically sound engineering solutions.
• Support management and technical delivery from start to finish.
• Perform inspections and prepare design calculations and drawings.
• Assist in health & safety practices within the team.
