Job summary

Kier Rail is seeking an MEP Technical Supervisor to join our Rail team, overseeing mechanical and electrical installations on construction projects nationwide. You will ensure works meet standards, specs, and regulatory requirements as the client’s on-site representative.

In this role you will monitor M&E/E&P installations, conduct inspections, maintain site records, witness testing and commissioning, and coordinate with subcontractors and the Construction Responsible Engineer to deliver

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Extensive M&E building services experience in installation, inspection, testing and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, standards and HSE requirements.
• CSCS card or equivalent site safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site M&E installations to meet drawings and specs.
• Inspect health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Maintain detailed site records (inspection reports, progress photos).
• Witness testing and commissioning to verify performance.
• Coordinate between the Construction Responsible Engineer and subcontractors.
