Rolls-Royce in Winsford is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Fitter to deliver essential maintenance and repair services across our Rail, Switchboard manufacture and diesel-powered generation systems. • Completed an recognised mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent experience).

• Strong communication and documentation skills in regulated environments.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with strong attention to detail.

As a Mechanical/Electrical Fitter, you’ll play a key part in delivering essential maintenance and repair services across our Rail, Switchboard manufacture and diesel‑powered generation systems. What You Will Be Doing:

• Mechanically assemble switchboards for a major programme

Position Qualifications

• Have completed a recognised mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent experience)
• Bring experience working on diesel engines or electrical systems in a service or MRO environment
• Be comfortable working independently and as part of a close‑knit, goal‑focused team
• Show good communication and documentation skills in a regulated environment
• Demonstrate a hands‑on, proactive approach with strong attention to detail

Preferred Requirements:

• You must demonstrate an ability to be work within a team orientated environment and collaborate across multiple functions. Good interpersonal skills and good communication is essential in addition to working in a systematic and structured manner.
• A level of overtime working would be required to assist in the management of peak capacity loadings and customer demands.
