Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking an experienced Joiner for a rail interior fit-out role in Milton Keynes. The job involves assembly and fitting of interior components to rail vehicles, reading engineering drawings, and delivering high-quality finish.

You will work on a rotating shift pattern with early and late shifts; a minimum Level 2 Joinery qualification and full UK driving licence are required; medical and drug & alcohol screening will be carried out.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Joinery or a relevant discipline.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass a medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• Hands-on joinery/ interior fit-out experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assembly and fitting of components to rail vehicles.
• Install and fit interior components, flooring, seating, panels and passenger comfort equipment.
• Complete joinery and interior fit-out work to a high standard.
• Work from engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and in line with quality requirements.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
