Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking a skilled Kitchen Fitter to join a rail industry project in Milton Keynes. You will assemble and fit interior panels, flooring, seating and other passenger equipment on rail vehicles.

The ideal candidate has a Level 2 qualification in Kitchen Fitting/Joinery or related discipline, a Full UK driving licence, and ability to pass a medical and drug screening. This role offers rotating early and late shifts and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Kitchen Fitting, Joinery, Carpentry or a relevant discipline.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Ability to pass medical and drug & alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the assembly and fitting of components to rail vehicles.
• Install and fit interior panels, flooring, seating and other passenger equipment.
• Carry out detailed interior fit-out and installation work.
• Work from engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Use a range of hand and power tools.
• Ensure all components are accurately fitted and finished to a high standard.
• Complete work in line with quality and safety requirements.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
