Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Training & Development Specialist to support the delivery, development and modernization of a wide range of Rail Infrastructure products. You will design, develop and deliver technical training, including e-learning content, and work with internal teams and external customers to identify training needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• HNC in a STEM discipline, or equivalent industrial or engineering experience.
• Knowledge of railway or engineering systems, networks and interfaces.
• Experience in developing technical training materials, strategies and teaching/mentoring others.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and in virtual teams.
• Desirable: experience in Railway signalling systems, signalling control systems, cybersecurity, telecoms, networks, or distributed control networks.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and delivering technical training for Siemens Rail Infrastructure and other areas within Siemens Mobility.
• Creating and updating course material, including e-learning content, to align with new technologies and customer needs.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external customers to identify training requirements and deliver tailored learning solutions.
• Supporting the senior trainers with the development of responses to project bids.
• Champions safety, quality and continuous improvement across all aspects of training delivery and development.
