Job summary

Arcadis in Manchester is seeking experienced rail project professionals to join our growing rail team as Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager or Senior Project Manager. You will support or lead the development and delivery of major rail infrastructure and asset protection schemes, ensuring safe, sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Previous rail industry experience is essential for every appointment level.
• Knowledge of project management principles (scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, governance and change).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of budgets and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage or support multidisciplinary teams delivering rail projects across programmes.
• Oversee scope, delivery plans, milestones and project controls.
• Coordinate interfaces between clients, contractors, operators, asset owners and disciplines.
• Manage risks, issues, change, governance and assurance requirements.
• Monitor programme performance on cost, quality and safety.
• Support commercial management, procurement and budget control.
• Communicate updates and decisions to stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor project teams at senior levels.
