Qualifications

• Previous rail industry experience is essential for every appointment level.
• Understanding of the operational railway and railway infrastructure.
• Knowledge of project management principles: scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, governance and change.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, delivery plans, milestones and project controls.
• Support or lead rail infrastructure, asset protection and third-party schemes.
• Coordinate interfaces between clients, contractors, operators, asset owners and technical disciplines.
• Manage project risks, issues, change, governance and assurance requirements.
• Monitor programme, cost, quality, safety and overall project performance.
• Work within rail project lifecycles and governance processes (PACE or equivalent).
• Support commercial management, contract administration, procurement and budget control.
• Communicate updates, recommendations and decisions to stakeholders.
• Lead project teams and mentor colleagues at senior levels.
