Job summary

Contact 4 Support Services Ltd is seeking a Hygiene Operative to provide cleaning across station environments, including public areas and toilets. You will work to meet SLA requirements and follow station schedules, including night shifts and weekends, in a safety-critical rail setting.

Responsibilities include using cleaning equipment safely, maintaining high hygiene standards, and reporting hazards promptly to relevant teams. Prior experience in transport or public environments is desirable.

Qualifications

• Intermediate English required for speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties according to station schedules and requirements.
• Clean public areas including platforms, waiting areas, shelters, seating, stairs, lifts and station facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness of staff and public toilets to high hygiene standards.
• Dispose of waste safely and in line with procedures.
• Use cleaning equipment correctly and safely (mops, scrubber machines, chemicals).
• Keep high-footfall and safety-critical areas free of litter and hazards.
• Follow health & safety procedures including COSHH and manual handling.
