Job summary

Around Noon is seeking a Hygiene Operative for a factory night-shift role in the United Kingdom. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in line with site procedures.

Responsibilities include COSHH compliance, health and safety documentation, hazard reporting, and ensuring PPE is properly used. The role supports site visits and audits with a flexible 17:00–06:00 schedule, five nights out of seven.

Qualifications

• Full understanding of COSHH requirements and chemicals in use.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and documentation.
• Ability to report hazards and unsafe practices to supervisors.
• Familiarity with cleaning systems and schedules in a factory.

Responsibilities

• Understand cleaning systems, schedules, equipment and procedures.
• Ensure PPE is in good condition and worn at all times.
• Carry out post-engineering cleaning for engineering work.
• Ensure all areas are clean to support site visits and audits.
• Perform other duties commensurate with role.

Job description

Key activities - Ensuring that the factory equipment and environment are kept andmaintained to a high degree of cleanliness, in accordance with the site & cleaningprocedures.

Reports to – Hygiene Supervisor/Hygiene Lead

Working Days - Any five nights out of seven in a week (flexible to support needs of thebusiness)

Shift- Full time from 17:00 to 06:00 (starting and finish time may vary)

Responsibilities:

1. To have a full understanding of the COSHH requirements and chemicals in use.
2. Full understanding of Health and Safety procedures and document needs of thedepartment.
3. To immediately report all potential hygiene and health & safety hazards and/or unsafeworking practices to the Production & Technical Managers.
4. To have a full understanding of the cleaning systems, schedules, equipment andprocedures throughout the factory combined.
5. To ensure all correct PPE is in good condition and worn at all times.
6. To carry out post engineering cleaning for any engineering work.
7. To ensure all areas are clean to support site visits and audits.
8. To perform other such duties as reasonably correspond to the general character ofthe role and are commensurate with its level of responsibility.
