Job summary

Amey Consulting is seeking Design Integration Engineers at all levels to join the Rail practice across the UK. You will contribute to a broad portfolio of rail projects, applying systems engineering and design integration techniques to deliver cross-discipline solutions.

The role supports flexible working, with a mix of office, site, and remote options across multiple regional offices including Cardiff. We are looking for engineers who can manage requirements, support V&V activities, and

Qualifications

• Experience in design integration and assurance processes within rail projects.
• Experience delivering multi-disciplinary rail design solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-disciplinary rail design integration activities across projects.
• Apply systems engineering processes and the Amey Engineering Management Manual to define and deliver engineering solutions.
• Manage requirements allocation, discipline ownership, and verification/validation activities.
• Coordinate verification, validation, and cross-discipline interfaces; support end-to-end stage gates.
