Job summary

Arup is seeking an experienced Rail (Commercial) Consultant to join its London-based Strategic Consulting team. You will work on high-profile rail projects, analysing passenger markets, revenue opportunities and the commercial implications of services, fares and infrastructure.

Leveraging data analysis, commercial insight and modelling, you will support rail strategies, business cases and investment decisions, collaborating with operators, Network Rail and government bodies across the project

Qualifications

• Experience in rail consulting or transport planning with commercial focus.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills; able to build and interpret models.
• Understanding of rail demand, revenue and markets; ability to translate analyses into recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze passenger markets, revenue opportunities and commercial implications of rail changes.
• Develop demand, revenue forecasting and modelling; provide reporting.
• Support business cases, investment decisions and service planning.
• Engage stakeholders and provide strategic advisory support throughout projects.
