Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Rail Operations and Systems Analyst in London to join a multidisciplinary team delivering integrated railway solutions. You will connect technical detail with whole-railway outcomes, support clients through the full lifecycle, and contribute to major rail enhancement programmes and digital signalling projects.

The role requires Chartered Engineer status or near achievement, strong experience in rail systems and an ability to lead technical work packages while

Qualifications

• Combination of rail operations understanding and systems engineering capability across complex projects.
• Chartered Engineer status or close to achieving it is preferred.
• Experience leading technical tasks with strong stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical work packages on rail projects and develop integrated, whole-system solutions.
• Translate operational needs into practical design outcomes across interfaces.
• Support bids, project delivery and development of junior team members.
