Job summary

Churchill Group is seeking a collaborative Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee a key rail cleaning contract between London and Kent. You will lead and support a team of two Duty Managers, driving service excellence while maximising contract performance.

This hands-on role blends site visits with strategic planning, ensures compliance and quality, and works with the Senior Operations Manager. You may contribute to new business mobilisation and innovation projects across Churchill Group.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership at senior management level within FM or related sector.
• Experience managing large portfolios with demonstrated financial growth.
• Background in acquisitions and integrations with operational alignment.
• Strong people leadership with coaching and building high-performing teams.
• Ability to drive strategic and operational improvements and metrics.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of two Duty Managers across rail sites between London and Kent.
• Monitor KPIs and quality metrics, identify trends and opportunities.
• Conduct site visits to ensure compliance and service excellence.
• Oversee financial performance and identify opportunities to improve margins.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to respond to client feedback and drive improvements.
• Implement scalable processes to support sustainable growth.
