Job summary
Amcogiffen in Scotland seeks an experienced Engineering Manager (CEM) to lead across our rail and civil engineering projects in Scotland. You will provide engineering leadership from early design through construction, commissioning and handback, acting as the technical authority for governance, standards and client requirements.
You will manage design development, reviews and documentation, oversee construction methodologies and site activities, and support planning, estimating and commercial
Qualifications
- Chartered Engineer status (ICE) or working towards.
- Recognised as a CEM within rail contracting org.
- Significant rail civil engineering experience; multi-disciplinary env.
- Strong knowledge of Network Rail governance and processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering leadership across schemes from early design through construction, commissioning and handback.
- Act as technical authority ensuring governance, standards and client requirements.
- Lead design development and reviews; manage documentation (CPPs, WPPs, briefs, drawings).
- Oversee site investigations, construction stages, handback and safety governance.
