Job summary

WSP is seeking a Rail Civil Engineer to join its Civil Engineering team, delivering design for stations, depots and related infrastructure. The role offers mentoring toward CRE status and opportunities to advance within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Based in our UK offices with a hybrid working policy, you will work with clients and contractors, guiding junior staff and ensuring high-quality outputs aligned with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering and managing all stages of multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
• Knowledge of DM RB, Eurocodes and British/European Standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering design for stations, depots, level crossings and civils works.
• Lead design outputs, calculations, and risk assessments with the wider team.
• Mentor junior team members and support CRE progression.
• Collaborate with clients and contractors to deliver effective solutions.
• Champion WSP’s SHEW culture and compliance.
